What do SPU, SU, IU, and mg mean?
SPU and SU measure the activity of serrapeptase.
IU (International Units) is used for vitamins and hormones, not enzymes.
mg (milligrams) indicates the weight of the enzyme, but not its effectiveness.
Comparing SU and IU
IU is not a recognized enzyme activity unit, so it cannot be directly compared to SU. When choosing serrapeptase, look for higher SPU or SU values to ensure potency.
